Chris has over eighteen years in the field of IT Security, specializing in incident response.
His first Cyber Security company, Skout Forensics, co-Founded with Keith Palumbo was acquired by Cylance in 2012. Thereafter, Chris built and led the Global Incident Response team, responding to hundreds of breaches before shifting into a field CTO role for Cylance. Later Cylance was acquired by BlackBerry for $1.4 billion in 2019. He then went on to SentinelOne, where he led and scaled a highly profitable Managed Detection & Response (MDR) offering. SentinelOne IPO’d as the highest valued Cyber Security company of all time.
Chris has extensive hands on keyboard experience for some of the most notorious breaches of all time and testified extensively regarding his role in responding to the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) nation-state attack that exposed security background investigations on millions of Americans, and testified before the House Subcommittee on Investigations regarding the breach and subsequent remediation. Chris has previously worked in various IT Security roles at BoozAllenHamilton, MIT-Lincoln Laboratory, StrozFriedberg (AON), PriceWaterHouseCoopers (PwC), AES Corp., & the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Chris is a graduate of Champlain College.
