Driving the Future of AISecOps
Driving the Future of AISecOps
Auguria is ushering in a new era of cybersecurity where AI understands and automatically adapts to each organization’s unique needs. Our platform creates the foundation for AI-driven SecOps, acting as the connective layer between SIEM and data lakes, rich security data sources such as XDR, and language models like copilots and AI assistants. We are fully unleashing the potential of human-machine teaming for security operations to finally solve the critical challenge of data overload.
FOUNDING STORY
Cybersecurity operations walk a tightrope between two extremes: collecting too little security log and event data and risking exposure to threats, or incurring unsustainable costs for data processing. Today’s legacy SIEMs and data processing capabilities have not kept pace with the escalating demands of modern SecOps teams.
Drawing on years of experience identifying, implementing and building new technologies, Co-Founders Chris Coulter and Keith Palumbo set out in 2022 to reframe this fundamental data dilemma to drive faster, more accurate security outcomes while lowering the costs associated with data ingest, analysis, and storage.
Harkening back to their first successful security company, Skout Forensics (acquired by Cylance in 2012), they realized that by shifting the focus of analysis away from hands-on keyboard operators in a SOC or MDR and leveraging diverse, highly effective, and in some cases overlooked, machine learning and AI techniques, it was possible to make determinations around the probable value of data at speed, scale, and in near real-time. These determinations drive more effective decisions around routing and storage, laying the groundwork for exponentially more accurate analytics and outcomes.

The operational efficiencies and drastically improved outcomes facilitated by our co-founder's groundbreaking approach have been astounding and are foundational to Auguria as the industry’s first Security Knowledge Layer.
